Trouble eating

I'm having an issue eating... when I try to eat I get full in 2 mins with just 4-5 baby bites.. but then after half an hour I get super hungry... my nut said u need to hold on to the food for half an hour and eat as much as u can but I get hungry after half hour again and can't hold on to the food for half hour cuz I feel like throwing up within the first 5 mins... how r u guys dealing with eating? Can someone suggest something ?

@@shrusara Are you taking a PPI? When you get hungry after the half hour - try drinking fluids instead of eating and see if that satisfies your hunger. You don't mention how far out you are or what you are eating - more dense Protein will fill you for a longer period of time. You may also still have to supplement Protein shakes until you can meet your protein goals with food.

Helllo, thank u for ur reply. I'm one week post op... I'm trying to get in the Protein but it's too hard cuz I'm not able to eat... I ate a little bit the other day and to get in all the protein tried having the Protein shake and I just had two tiny sips and I felt I'll throw up and was super dizzy...

What are you eating at one week post-op? Just curious. I am exactly one week post-op today, and I my plan is still on Clear liquids. I can add packaged Protein shakes today also if I want. Saturday, I progress to full liquids. But I am a long time away from anything solid. Scrambled eggs are the first solid thing -- and that is like October 27 for me.
