eating out

in two weeks i will be going to toronto (3 hours away to canada's wonderland) we are going to dinner out before the park, i will be on the very last week of soft foods(about half way through it). can you give me suggestions of what i could order? i know Soup is a given just wasn't sure what to do. worst comes to worst i'll just drink Water at dinner and eat in the car but was curious as to what i could order(doesn't matter to me if i have left overs my boyfriend will eat them lol)

Hi breuxo :) I travel alot for business and can give you some tips.

1) Read the menu online before you go so you know what your options are.

2) Chew, chew and then chew some more.

3) Suggestions: soft fish, mashed potatoes, soft vegetables that you can mash. Shrimp cocktail is my standby. I just take small bites, chew the heck out of it and limit the amount of sauce I use.

Yes, soup could be a good choice, but then again, it may not. I'm from the northeast where chowders and chili are a staple. If the soup of the day is a "cream of", you're out of luck. Call ahead of time.
