Core exercises

I am about 2 1/2 months postop and I am having issues with losing weight only and my lower abdomen area otherwise everything else is coming off nicely… Is there any suggestion of exercises that will help with that lower abdomen top of hip area that's my trouble area???

    I don't think you can "spot reduce" in terms of fat loss - but let me tell you I do an easy yoga routine that continues to pull in my abdominal area and helps a LOT. it also helps you build muscle

I don't think you can spot reduce fat. You can only tone your muscles.

My exercise of choice is swimming. It is great for my core and my whole body.

You could swim laps, take Water aerobics classes, do water weights, water walking, etc.

I don't think you can "spot reduce" in terms of fat loss - but let me tell you I do an easy yoga routine that continues to pull in my abdominal area and helps a LOT. it also helps you build muscle because you are using your body for strength training.

I like the Peggy Cappy videos and can recommend them, and I also like the yoga on my wii fit.
