I'm on Day 12 post op. I spent 1 night in the hospital & was released the next afternoon. Moderate pain & some nausea. Trying to make sure I get my Protein & liquids in each day.
At first post op Appt, my Dr. said I looked fine $ nausea & pain caused from me not getting enough Calories.
Thurs & Friday last week at Office were tough. Severe stomach cramping & difficulty eating swallowing small sips water, Jello & Gatorade, etc. I have Zofran for Nausea but Liquid Tylenol w/ Codeine is running low. Had a cramp so bad Friday evening, I started sweating & nearly passed out! I can only sleep on my back & when I try to lay on my side, pain comes back.
Thought this weekend would get better but it's really the same. Has anyone else experienced these severe cramps & what did you do about them? Please help- Miserable!
I heard multiple times in hospital from patients who''be had the GS that it takes 3 weeks to heal? Here''s hoping this next week allows me to turn the corner!
