Surgery yesterday. Feeling much better than expected. I think Stage 1 bariatic diet is harder than fasting but the nurses know their stuff so that's good. Good luck to those lined up.

Congrats Papa Dubs! On the way to healthy. Thank heavens for great bariatric nurses. Such good news that you "feel better than expected " please keep us posted. Where did you have your surgery?

Emerson Hospital in Concord MA. Great specialty practice and all their patient go to the same floor after surgery so all the nurses have loads of experience and training.

I have a brewery I want to hit before I have my surgery. That is going to be my last alcohol for quite a long time. They have the most amazing Bourbon barrel aged beers there.
