surgery tomorrow!

It's my turn for the gastric sleeve tomorrow morning (8am). I feel nervous and weird...

I started at my surgeons weightloss center on Jan 29th 2017. I am 5'9 and I weighed in at 271 pounds. This morning I weighed myself at 216 pounds, so I'm heading into surgery somewhat lighter than I expected. I am thankful for the program I've been through and the time I've had to adjust things in my life in preparation for this.....(although who knows how I will feel this time tomorrow!)

Having said that, in still terrified but excited to get through this next part. I haven't been on the forums long but I am so grateful for having access to something like this - shared experience. I've learnt a lot & really love having the support of others who get it.

      First 3 days post op was hard. I am 8 days out, back to work and my surgeon told me today I was near perfect in my recovery. You may second guess but this is the best thing I have done and I bet you

    I am doing good, because of the open bypass they put in two drainage tubes (which I get out Tuesday) and one got a tiny infection, but the pain is better and the diet not as hard as I thought it'd be :)
