Gallbladder

Before surgery has anyone had pain in their right upper quadrant? I have severe pain and getting an ultrasound Thursday to try to rule out gallstones. I was just wondering if anyone has had to have their gallbladder out when they had their surgery (at the same time) or shortly after?

A lot of people get their gallbladders removed at the same time????

When I had my sleeve I also had my gallbladder removed as there was an intramural calcification of the gallbladder wall. I never had any pain but during testing it was discovered. I also had to have a hernia repaired.

The results was I have gallstones. Talked to my Dr and he said he will take it out with my surgery (he is also going to fix a Hernia). So having 3 surgeries on 1. He told me that if my pain got worse to call him and he would take my gallbladder out and then wait about 6 wk and do the surgery. I'm hoping to just hold out for the surgery though.
