Gained weight

I lost 33 lbs total from Preop diet to Sunday. I am 10 days post op. I have gained 4 lbs. I haven't had but one BM and was told today this may be the reason.....any experience with weight gain immediately after surgery?

@@kaciecase It's very common to gain right after surgery. You are swollen, pumped with fluids and the constipation are the reason. Just stick to the plan - meet your Protein and Water goals and you'll lose the weight. I wouldn't even get on the scale right now - it'll drive you crazy.

I absolutely agree with KristenLe........don't weigh every day..............made me crazy so I only weigh once a week now.

Stay off the scale. It's your enemy. I look at it this way. I didn't do this for a "number" I did it to be healthy for my kids and myself. Try and look at it that way. I helps me not want to weigh myself all the time. I notice my cloths are looser and I'm now wearing stuff I couldn't before and I'm happy with that. I find out my numbers when I go in for my checkups. Btw I'm two weeks post op.
