Just wondering.

After you have the sleeve, what would cause you to not like certain things you used to like before. I'm starting my 8th week out and there are a couple things I loved before hand but now..yeah, not so much. Does this type of surgery mess with your taste buds too?

No idea why. It's weird. I know some foods make me physically ill so the aversion makes sense. Why some foods taste off? No idea but I'm not mad!

Somehow it does, yes. A lot of people find they lose the taste for certain old favorites, and/or start liking things they never liked before. I don't think anyone knows how or why! I know that pre-op, I hated eggs my entire life -- just smelling them made me feel sick to my stomach. Now I have an egg almost every day (dinner) and look forward to it tremendously! I would choose eggs over ice cream for the rest of my life if I had to pick.

My tastes have not changed but they have came more extreme. Things that I was lukewarm on pre-op like scrambled eggs, I hate post-op. Never liked yogurt, despise yogurt now. Loved fish before, really love fish now.
