In the first month after surgery, how much walking did you do?

How many days a weeks?

What sort of distance?

20-30 min. every day, 1-2 miles. I use the Gazelle edge indoors because unfortunately, I have tons of stairs where I live.

I walked every hour on the hour for the first two weeks and every few days I would go a bit further. My Dr said start out doing 10 mins then slowly increase. I am up to a mile a day now. I am slowly increase walking again.

Good luck!!!

I'm just starting wk7....I try to walk 30min 5 out of 7 days a week. I get really tired, but it feels good after I accomplish it. I'm still a big girl, and I struggle with exercise. But everyone says it gets better. Day by day.
