I must say this journey has not been nearly as bad as I had anticipated. Other than a bit of discomfort the few days following surgery I cannot really complain at all. I know it has only been 3 months but I am not having a problem eating what I am supposed to and staying away from junk. My menu is pretty basic consisting of hard boiled eggs, chicken, greek yogurt, cottage cheese and some nuts and fruit and vegetables here and there. Had my 3 month blood work done and everything looks good so i assume I am taking enough Vitamins (with Flintstone as my multi). For all of those that are just embarking on your journey don't sweat it listen to your doctor and stick to the plan like most things in life I truly think it is mind over matter. Now for the good stuff. I am 6' 5" started this journey at 346.5 day of surgery after 1 week liquid diet 330 this morning scale says 276. Seventy pounds gone in 13 weeks, I think a few days of discomfort was well worth it!!! About 40 more to goal which I am confident I can work off by years end!!
