3 Months Post Op

Hi,

Everything is going pretty well accept for occasional acid reflux and it is always in the middle of the night. The reflux occurs in my sleep waking me up gagging with the most horrible hot burning feeling to my throat and sinus. Not sure if it is related to Iron pills, or drinking coffee again. It is not every night but at least once a week. Thinking I am going to begin sleeping with lots of pillows to prop up. So scary and painful. Wondering if any of you have had this happen, what have you done?

Hi,

Yes to the PPI 30 min before Breakfast. Also, Carafat (sp) which I forgot about and better put the bottle on the nightstand. I see the surgeon for 12 week post op on, 9/21. And last night I slept propped up and did not have any issues.

Thanks BP Fam!
