off topic but.....where, what were you doing september 11, 2001?

i was 46 years old

was at work when i heard the news

small tv in area - many watched in shock

i worked for the state -Albany closed

all work throughout the state

such a sad/horrible day to remember

    I was working at a college. I came in and all the screens in the registrars office were tuned to the news. Seconds after I entered, the first tower collapsed. I didn't really know what was happening. There was still no context. As the day went on, we set up tvs in all the corridors. One of the math professors, an amazing man who makes math software for the visually impaired, was from Iraq. He said to me, "This is going to be so bad for both of my countries."
