Tired.

I'm right at 6 weeks post op, my question is..why am I extremely tired every time after I eat? Doesn't matter what I eat either, as soon as I'm basically done, I start getting real tired. Anyone else experience this?

Yes. I went thru that too. When I could, I took a short nap. Body is still healing and adjusting to this new lifestyle. Give it what it needs when you can.

Try eating less at each meal. Being overwhelmed by exhaustion can be a signal from your body that you ate too much. I know it sounds odd but it really can work that way -- give it a try and see if that helps? Good luck!

Sometimes, I find it exhausting just to eat a couple of ounces of food. the chewing, chewing, chewing, and more chewing......the conscious effort to eat slowly.

My daughter sometimes laughs at me when I finish a meal, I give a big sigh. She use to ask whats that about and I'd say I'm exhausted. lol

The thing is though, I don't eat much to begin with...
