I started my journey in Feb and have surgery in 2 days.

This pre op diet stinks lol.

Anyway I'm hoping to be able to get support and advise from fellow sleevers. I'm 52 and started out at 309 but I'm now down to 278.

Surgery isn't till today, they called yesterday and changed the time.

Its 12:13 am I have to be they're at 6:00 am I can't wait to get this done.

This site has giving me great hope thanks a bunch.

In a few hours my life will be starting a new chapter.

Best of luck Dan. You will hopefully be able to get some sleep after your surgery. My nurses seemed to come into my room every hour. I kept telling them to let me sleep. I finally gave up and walked the halls.

Every thing went fine! The gas pains are awful though.

Just had my first meal! chicken broth Jello And lemonade. No problems but only had about 3 oz.

I'm glad everything went well for you Dan! Walking will help the pains. I am having them also and when it gets to be too much walking seems to help.

Well everything is going great! I've lost 5 lbs since surgery and haven't had to take any pain medicine after coming home.

I've been walking a lot and eating cream Soups.

I haven't been getting my fluids or Proteins in but its getting better, I can't stand Protein shakes!

Pain is very mild almost none existent. This has been the answer I've been looking for all my life. I'm getting antsy to start working out and shedding this old body.
