Upper GI

Okay question, I had to have a upper GI done today, I did drink a Protein shake and was sipping Water prior to the test, up to 15 minutes before the test. When the test was done I got to see the images of my upper chest and stomach, is it normal that my stomach looked the size of my fist?? I also had to drink this really thick liquid for the test and during like a lot of of it, would that also affect how my stomach looked?

I wasn't allowed to have any food or drinks before my upper gi. They said if I had taken even a sip of water they would have rescheduled. I don't remember what size my stomach looked to be but I did find the test interesting as I watched the drinks go down on the screen.
