Ketosis?

Hi all! Sorry if I sound really unaware, but what is ketosis? It seems to be a specific "state" to be in, but how do you get there, and what does it do for you?

Thanks!

make it a great day

Fat burning mode bc the carbs are depleted. Usually get there with an Atkins type low carb diet. You'll notice darker urine. Ketones are released in the urine. A byproduct of the metabolic processes. Hence the name.

If you Google you will find tons of info on it, I am not sure I could avoid fruit though. Anyway, talking to your NUT would probably be a good idea as well: https://authoritynutrition.com/ketogenic-diet-101/
