I feel blessed to be on the other side of surgery. Everything went well, just sore from not being able to burp or pass gas.

I didn't take in much fluids the day of surgery because I slept so much. The funny thing is I weigh today than I did the day of surgery. I'm guessing it's the gas .

Congratulations! Glad you are doing well.

Stay up on your fluids so you keep feeling well. It is the number 1 priority.....

Also it is perfectly normal to gain weight while in the hospital. It is all the fluids they pumped into you. It will go away in the next few days.

Congrats! I'm with you on the gas thing.. In my shoulder too.. Trying to walk it off. Had surgery today at 1pm.
