I'm 3 weeks out from my surgery and I have an excessive amount of energy! I can get to sleep until 2-3 in the morning, sleep for maybe 4 hours and start my day.

Thank you for sharing;this will be a post to reread when I start losing noticeable weight. My oldest son is struggling because he's never had a "skinny" mom. He knows I will change physically, but even at 13,he doesn't realize I'll still be his awesome mom--just healthier.

I feel blessed to be on the other side of surgery. Everything went well, just sore from not being able to burp or pass gas.
I didn't take in much fluids the day of surgery because I slept so much. The funny thing is I weigh today than I did the day of surgery. I'm guessing it's the gas .

@@turtle I am using my left over Shakelogy Protein shakes. They $125 a package--highway robbery, I am also drinking Carnation Breakfast Essentials powdered drinks--just without the milk.

I'm on my liquid diet and I didn't realize how conscious I'd be about my hunger. It has to be completely psychological, but it's making me hangry--I get crabby like the people in Snickers commercials. I keep apologizing to people in case I come off as rude.
I'm excited about tomorrow; just hoping to survive today without ending up on the 6 o'clock news
