3rd Week Post Op, lower belly cramping

Morning all,

I'm having my first taste of cramping post op. I just hit my 3rd week today (8/15 Surgery Day). After I had a BM today and did have to slightly push, I'm having alot of lower belly cramping. Is that normal? I haven't experienced this before and its making me nervous, have I pulled something loose in my small intestine. I go for my first post op appointment tomorrow, Ill ask then. But scared today.

Sounds pretty normal. Your brand new stomach trying to figure itself out. But definitely ask so you'll feel better.

As long as they used staples, sutures, etc.; it would be really hard to do any damage. I'm over 11 years out and have never had an issue. In fact, I don't believe I've ever heard of an issue like that. So try not to worry.

Sounds like a good idea.
