I Did It

 This is me with my new band headed to SKINNY LAND

Had surgery this AM - things are looking good - all in all not a bad experience - little sore and the gas from the surgery isn't fun - but small price to pay for my new life ahead

:clap2:

I am now on day 8 post surgery and I am feeling a lot better. Still tire out by the end of the day, but I feel a helluva lot better than I did last week! Today was the first day I really got hungry. Had some mashed potatoes, some cream soup, a popsicle and a Jello, all sugar free of course. Oh and I had the dreaded shake this morning. My sister went to GNC and got me one of the Protein drinks, I forget the name, but I'll be having that this evening. The soup was great. Can't believe Im here talking about eating! Wow... what a change. I should be at some bar somewhere drinking and smoking and flirting! WOW! Can't wait to get back out there and show off the new me!

:rolleyesI still am having some shoulder pain post op. I guess I am on day 5 or six postop, was banded 8/29. I am just surprised that the shoulder pain can hit me here and there and be quite significant. Ice packs really help, I have found. Anyone else experience shoulder pain this long?

thanks,

maria
