15 bean soup / Morningstar Farms

I've made the bean soup you are talking about - it's great - I don't use the artifical meat seasoning if that is the one you got - but I love Beans also - any type of dried bean and I'm in heaven - put in some carrots and onion and a can of tomatoes - it's really good :rose:

Hello all I got my band on Aug 28 - best money I ever spent on myself - process was much easier than trying to deal with an insurance company that thought it was cosmetic surgery Have lost about 20 or so pounds since surgery - went for first followup last wed - I declined a fill because I am happy with the weight loss and I'm not getting extremely hungry between meals - I want to do as much of this on my own with my new tool as possible So if you can dig up the funds - pay yourself and save alot of time and heartache - and be on the road to being the person you want to be much sooner:rolleyes:
  4. This is me with my new band headed to SKINNY LAND Had surgery this AM - things are looking good - all in all not a bad experience - little sore and the gas from the surgery isn't fun - but small price to pay for my new life ahead :clap2:

  7. Liz I took the big leap this past Tuesday - I didn't really get nervous - I was more worried about my wonderful husband - he doesn't do well when there is something happening to me Just think about how wonderful your life is going to be again when you get the weight off The surgery will be over before you know it BTW - I'm really sore - but not anything that can't be dealt with - just walk and sip liquid - that will be your new dance steps for a few days Let us know how you do Good luck

    Did you or didn't you...

I have told on a "need to know" basis Of course my wonderful husband who is supporting me 200% My boss so I could get my sick days - and he has to keep it to himself My best girlfriend of 30 years who is also a wonderful support No parents on either side - no sibs either - no neighbors or casual friends This to me is a very personal and private decision and one that I made without all these people - so why tell them Anyway - just me - counting the time until next Tues when I get my band:whoo:
  13. Got the word - Tuesday 8/28 - get my band :whoo:- can't wait - the waiting at this point I think is the worst Had gallbladder surgery about 9 years ago - no trouble - so am not expecting any trouble this round Can't wait to get this journey started - it is kinda - but ready to roll down the hill to being myself again:whoo:
  14. Ok, I must confess. I have been reading this board for months trying to get the courage to register so I could post to messages. So since I have an appointment with Dr. Billy in Ventura, CA on Tuesday of this week to discuss LapBand - I figured it was time to come clean. I tend to be a very private person so I'll still stay in the background reading what everyone posts and when I need help I'll SCREAM LOUD:embarassed: for help. So for now I have taken the name of my two 4 legged babies as my name to post :drum: Thanks in advance for all the help and support I know I'll get from being here:clap2:
