Pureed stage. Eating too much?

Hello all. I'm starting week 4 post op and am on the pureed stage. Today I had:

Breakfast- 4oz Greek yogurt

Mid morning: Protein shake

Lunch: 2oz Pureed Buffalo chicken salad

Afternoon: 1/2 banana w/ tspn Peanut Butter

Dinner: Pureed Chili (ground turkey)

Now: 2oz Applesauce

God looking at that written it seems like so much. My dr says eating less but more often staves hunger away and is better for metabolism but I'm so worried that is way too much food. Ugh I'm so confused. Anyone have any advice?

  • I calculated and got 45g Protein today. But the banana, Peanut Butter (1g) and applesauce were basically negligible. I'm gonna cut out fruit like that I think unless I'm just dying for something sweet

You should consider tracking your intake using an app like LoseIt! or My Fitness Pal - they're great at helping to ensure you're getting enough Protein - and it sheds a lot of light on your calories, fat, and carbs, all of which play a part in your journey as well.
