the rule at the clinic I use is to wait a half an hour after the Protein shakes as well. not really sure *why* though. I am sure it varies by practice.

    Just like we aren't supposed to drink and eat at the same time, anyone know the rule with Protein shakes and other fluids? Is it the same? I would realllllly love some Water right nowwww but just drank a protein shake. Thanks!

    I've eaten and had water just sip it slowly and see how you feel I don't think this rule applies to everyone.

    Too much Fluid at one time can cause discomfort as well. If you're just drinking a small amount to kind of wash down your shake I don't see the issue.
