After surgery dr said I might have loose stools. Not me just the opposite. I was told to take a colace in the morning and one at night. It took a couple days and all is good now. Good luck that isn't much fun.

Colace works try an Exlax at nite, but increase your water/liquid intake and make sure your exercising. The water and movement really helps me.

A spoonful of castor oil will help you within one or two hours. You are not meant to use it more than once or twice in a week though.

It tastes nasty so mix it with a small amount of juice and stir it before you drink it.

I can and I will.

I did Colace too post op. Almost 6 weeks post op. It really helped me too. I agree with the water, it's vital to many aspects of your success. Get up and move! The tummy likes that too!

I put a dose of Miralax in hot tea every morning. Works good and I can't taste it. I have heard about a tea in the evening called Smooth Move but I haven't tried it.
