@@lutheranian I was told no NSAIDS for 30 days post op, same with Fish Oil, vit E etc Yes, in my opinion you could well have lowered immune system due to the trauma of the surgery, changes in diet

@@lutheranian Stress lowers your immunity. I swear by Airborne and Vitamin D. Talk to your Dr about what you can take - you don't want it turning into an infection. Feel better!

I'm 5.5 weeks out and am sick. I have a cold that thankfully hasn't developed a fever. Is this normal? I NEVER get sick, but I figured such a big change to my anatomy and diet has weakened my immune system. Any advice? I don't want to take any OTC medicines because a lot contain aspirin and I was instructed not to take NSAIDS. I also started a new job this week (hello stress!) so I feel like a train hit me.
Any advice? sympathy? I'm so pitiful when I'm sick.
