Feedback on Protein Bullets

Hi, I am a newbie here. My GB date is set for 8/26, I start two week pro op liver shrinking diet in two days. I have heard of Protein bullets, haven't tried them , wondering if any one has feedback on their experiences using them. I am thinking I would use post op maybe or when I am super busy. Thank you in advance for any feedback dispensed????

I haven't used the product. I did a search on the internet, but many of the links say "We no longer carry this product". Not sure why. The Bullet Nutrition Protein Bullet has 42 grams of protein per bottle. Your body can absorb only so much protein at once. So therefore if you use this product it would be best to drink half a bottle and wait a few hours to drink the rest. It has no sugar. That is good. It has 134 calories. That is good. I cannot tell if it is lactose free. After RNY gastric bypass surgery, I became lactose intolerant. That is an important issue but I suspect this product is lactose free. One of the websites I found on the product gave it a grade of D+. I don't know why.

I just checked and it looks like it might be a protein blend. We were told early out to stick to 100% whey protein isolate. I think blends are probably OK after you're out a few months and are getting most of your protein from food, but you may want to check with your surgeon's office. If they're OK with the bullets early out, then who am I to say?
