I am on my pre op liquid diet and was wondering is there anyone who didn't lose weight or stayed the same the day of surgery? I feel like I'm putting in to many calories but no sugars, feels weird!

I lost around 10 lbs on my pre-op diet. I was only drinking Water, a bottle and a half of Isopure and eating a small salad a day.

I think I'll try that I feel like the two Protein drinks are making me feel heavy I'll cut down to one and drink a lot of Water

My diet consisted of up to 5 Protein shakes and all the Clear liquids I wanted. I could only drink 3 shakes per day because they were so sweet tasting. I also drank a lot of homemade chicken broth which was very satisfying.

I lost 13lbs in 2 weeks prior to surgery. Of course I gained that and then some from all the fluids and swelling post op but it came back off very fast.

So our liver shrinking is Water weight??
