I have read a lot of threads recently. There have been a lot of complaints about arm pain. Who has had it? How long did it last? What did your MD state was the cause?

For me it was more of a shoulder pain. I believe that it is from the type of procedure and my sister who is a nurse stated that it was gas that would get into your joints. She called it shoulder gas which sounds kinda silly, but for me it went away after 4 days. There are certain exercises that you can do to get rid of it also. That was definately one of the worst parts of it for me.

Yep, gas pain. Mind was under my left shoulderblade and traveled up on top and then up the left side of my neck. Walking is by far the BEST thing you can do. You will be burping and farting a lot and you need to realy embrace that...each one means a little more of that painful air is gone. I think I had it off and on for about two weeks.
