Eating out

My husband accepted an invitation to eat out with some family friends at an Italian place (he accepted for the whole fam). I'm not on any food restrictions but Pasta, pizza seems like an enormously bad idea. They have wings on the menu that I can order without sauce, and salads topped with chicken. No kids' menu. Wings or salad?
