Off to the Emergency room

I've had sharp pains since yesterday at around 6pm. I'm so thristy and everytime I sip on something, the pain intensifies. I was on full liquids but decided to go back to clear like the book suggests hoping it would get better but it hasn't. It's slowly getting worse. Called the surgeons answering service and the surgeon on call suggested I go to the Emergency room so here I go. Anyone out there experience something similar? I'll let ya'll know what the outcome is once I'm out.

Cat scan didn't show anything so I am being discharged with pain meds and follow up with my surgeon in the morning. Currently not in pain because of the tremendously effective pain meds they pumped in

Sending good thoughts your way. I ended up in the ER Friday night for terrible pain in my left side. They ruled the bad stuff out and I was sent home. ive been laying with a heating pad to help.
