Acid reflux

I have never had a problem with acid reflux previously, but I am currently on day 6/10 of my pre op all liquid less than 800 calorie diet and I am now experiencing it. Has this happened to anyone else?

My doctor put me on acid reflux meds and it's helping me out big time. I still get acid reflux but it's getting better and better. This is my second month taking it and now I only have reflux once or twice a week. Some dairy, coffee, and anything with red dye triggers my acid reflux.
