1 week out!

I was sleeves by Dr Illan a week ago and I'm feeling great! I'm getting in enough Fluid and Protein, still have a little gas at times and a touch of soreness but overall am so happy with how everything is going!

  • Dr Illan was fantastic. I'm down about 20 lbs since starting the pre op diet, only 180 more to go! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Congratulations! It sounds like things are going very well for you. I'm one week and 2 days post surgery. I had a hard time getting the fluids and the Protein in. Then it seemed like at the one week mark, it magically became possible and I've done well the past two days. I think I probably still had a lot of swelling making it harder.

Have you gotten on the scale? How are the numbers going for you? I have always been someone who weighs myself daily, no matter how big or small I've been. I think it's so cool to get on the scale and see the numbers going down every day now!

Keep up the good work!

congrats!! Getting all you fluid and protein in is hard in the beginning

Yay! Glad things are going well. Welcome to the losers bench!
