I'm 3 weeks post up but my tummy isn't liking a whole lot of soft/mushy foods, so far I've been able to add cheese, tuna, eggs, chicken salad, and lunch meat along to the liquids. My NUT told me no salad or raw fruits until 6-8 weeks and I'm not sure about the Protein bars, I suppose if they're soft enough and chewed really well and tolerated you could have them

It really depends on the plan provided to you by your surgical team and nutritionist. I'm almost 4 weeks post-op.

At the 3 week mark I was starting soft foods - well chewed meat and fish mostly since I am focusing on Protein. Soft or macerated fruit is allowed at 3 weeks on my plan. Protein Bars and salads aren't to be introduced until a month post-op.
