I did not do shots after surgery but I had a huge really ugly bruise from the blood thinner shot they gave me in hospital. It took 4 weeks to finally disappear. If you are still bruised like pictures shlw, I would call my doctor. Doesn't seem right so long after the shots.

Talk to your doc. I have some marking from my knee surgery 8 years ago. My surgeon said that fair skinned people like me sometimes develop long-lasting or even permanent markings from tissue damage. But it's hard to tell from a photo, and there may be other things that could be causing it.

I had to stop my injections because of bleeding issues.

But, I too was doing stomach per instructions. Was told might bruise but did not. Did them 2x day for a week.

I did they said just to put warm towel and it still hasent gone away

I have just 2 more lovanox injections to give myself.. (28 days every 12 hours) Yay! However, I was instructed to inject in my belly alternating from side to side. I am bruised also.
