So I went out of town this weekend and my phone was acting a fool and had to be master reset. I realized I had a message and checked it. Well it was my surgeon office telling me I was approved by my insurance and August 11th will start a new life for me. I sitting here nervous, happy, anxious, excited, and scared all at once... Anyone else having these feelings all together????

@@MonicaEMT the first 6-7 months I was tired pretty much all the time because it took me a while to be able to get in the calories my body needed to function. Still, I had no complications or anything. Now I feel freaking amazing and I've lost almost 170 since surgery. I went a size 32 pants to a size 16 pants, and a size 3x-4x shirt to a large or xl shirt. Generally, this whole experience has been scary, difficult, tiring, confusing, and completely wonderful. It's been a whirlwind of change in such a short time, but all for the better.

So do I @@Shi-Shi80 and I must say I love his team. I email them with any questions and they respond immediately. I ever do walk-ins with questions and the nut answers. Sure we can meet up.

Best of luck, and yes I definitely have mixed emotions going on! Excitement, panic, fear, the unknown. I'm about a month pre-op, but looking forward to a fresh start, a new outlook on life, and no more worries about fitting into restaurant booths, airplane seats, etc. You can do this!

I'm on the 11th too! And am feeling all of the above. But mostly excitement. I've started a board on Pinterest of all of the clothes I'd love to wear after to keep my mind occupied.
