While they are acceptable for the pureed stage, keep in mind they have NO Protein. So as you move along in the food stages, you want to look for things with protein (I've read more than 10g per serving to get the most bang for your buck).

I ate a lot of hummus during the pureed stage... and cottage cheese, and egg faces ricotta bake (you can google it, it's really yummy!).

Heck, actually I ate hummus today at lunch (went out with a friend)... I think I am part chickpea at this point :lol:
