Thought I'd start a thread for those that are having their surgery July 26th so we can all vent/compare how we are feeling at each stage of the journey. How is everyone feeling at this point? I keep getting this question: Are you stressed or excited? My answer is both!

Lol, I am so nervous and scared. But I will not watch videos on it. When I had the endoscopy, the day before I watched videos on what to expect and the day of I was so scared lmao. Not doing that with this surgery

Omgosh ive watched so many surgeries of the sleeve. Im obsessed. I asked my dr to video mine and he said ok!!!! Lol

I wouldnt take anything for sleep. But that's just me...I'm a worrier.

I am too. I am sitting at work and can't even concentrate, but trying not to freak out lol. I did my before picture yesterday. I should have taken it before I started the liquids as I have lost 11 pounds (I don't think it really made that much of a difference). Cant wait for my first after pic

I have watched the videos over and over too. I never thought to see if I could get mine on video. Good idea. I did tell him I wanted to see my stomach they take out though...morbid curiosity, I guess

I definitely would not take zquil tonight. I don't think anyone sleeps the night before surgery. You will get enough sleep during and after.

To all my peeps that have surgery tomorrow: good luck and speedy recovery! I am so thankful for this group since everyone knows what I have to deal with and going through. Just took my dose of milk of magnesia , let the fun begin. Is it weird that I am not nervous and actually excited and anxious to get it done tomorrow and start the healing process?!
