Hey guys, I'll be going next Thursday for a revision to gastric bypass due to reflux, and I'm also having my gallbladder removed. Has anyone had the revision from Sleeve to bypass for reflux? How was it afterwards? Did you have to start your diet stages all over again? And also even though it's not for a weight loss reason, will you still lose weight ?

I had mine yesterday, I've lost 8 lbs since surgery and have lost over 20 lbs in general. Still on liquids and can start purée next week.

No coughing or hearing sounds when I breathe.

I have mine now, just started and a lot of ladies said their first one lasted almost 2 weeks [emoji85].

I had surgery 7/26, and I don't use the breathing tool they give often as I should and now it hurts when I take random deep breaths, my shoulder is also starting to hurt.. Should I be worried?

Does it still hurt anyone to take deep breaths? Like not your stomach area but lungs? I'm terrible at remembering to use the breathing machine they gave. Should I be worried??

Today makes a week, it's been a little tough.. Pain is pretty much gone today. Having a lot of trouble keeping hydrated. I forget I have to keep drinking.

Started reading the posts a few days before mine as well and it scared me. But it also helped me to know what to expect. I had my surgery Tuesday 7/26 and I'm 5 days post op, I can tell you it's not easy. Some incisions will hurt more than others and gas pain is horrible. But you will be ok!

How is everyone feeling?? And where are you at on the diet? Still Clear liquids or have you transferred into all liquids? My left side is killing me, this morning I had diarrhea and tonight my stomach is bothering me again. Also I'm freezing ! Anyone else cold?

How long did you wait to take your first shower and how was it? I had surgery Tuesday. I need to shower today lol. I feel nasty. Washed up yesterday, but it defiantly wasn't a shower !

That is terrible! I'm sorry they weren't very helpful! How is it now? Are you in your own room yet ? Was that in the recovery room or did you have bad service in your room ?

No schedule here either. Was also told to just sip clear liquids. I go see my surgeon next Wednesday

Same here. I can only swab inside my mouth.

Nauseous. Pain isn't too bad. Mouth is dry and I just want to take a sip of water!

Mine is too! I have to be there at 5:30AM. Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App I have to be there for 6am. I'm having my chicken broth/ dinner right now. Washed my pillow to take with me and I still need to pack a small bag. Idk if I'm nervous or excited more. I'm kinda numb right now. Lol

Yes ! Good luck everyone! Is that something all surgeons request ? Mine didn't tell me to take any milk of mag today.
