Hello again, I'm sorry I have posted so much.....but wanted to know if anyone else has had experience with this....I started full liquids today so I had 2 premier protein shakes, water, and 1/2 cup of tomato soup...I have also started having diarrhea today. Does anyone know what could be going on? Thank you!

Are you lactose intolerant? Our case manager says that happens post op even if you were not before for some. It happened to me after adding Miralax and Benefiber. I am just a month and week out from sleeve. Talk to your surgeon's office. We are discouraged from Protein Shakes but that is just Kaiser. So far my only big screw up was trying to eat some ice cream. BAD made me sick. Anyway hang in there. Stay hydrated!

This is a frequent issue of mine. It's basically true, liquid in liquid out. Also be prepared for the occasional bouts of constipation. Once you start the puréed stage things will change.
