I had my surgery on 6/29/16, I'm feeling great, pain is manageable with the pains meds given and I could easily fool myself into thinking that I didn't have any surgery if it wasn't for the incisions.
However, I'm having problems eating. I can easily drink Clear liquids at room temperature but the moment I switch to a Protein shake, yogurt, or applesauce I start having spasms or pain in my stomach. I take baby sips. In almost a week, I have only drank about 10 oz of Proteins shakes and 2-3 oz of yougurt plus all the clear liquids. Is this normal? How long before I can start handling anything other that clear liquids with more ease? I need more nourishment in my opinion. Any feedback is appreciated.
