I am 3 years post sleeve and have had wonderful success. In September my gallbladder went bad, which I know is common after weight loss surgery. Very long story short, my surgeon cut my bile duct during by gallbladder removal and is blaming it on my "unusual anatomy" after sleeve surgery. Obviously there is a lot to this story, but I was wondering if anyone else had encountered this?

What happened to "Keep paying attention all the time you're operating on someone"?

FYI -- my gall bladder went bad 10 days after my sleeve surgery. Eighteen days later my bariatric surgeon removed my GB.

It all went easy peasy.

My mom had her gallbladder removed and they cut her bile duct. She never had bariatric surgery. I had mine removed before getting the sleeve with no issues.

I also don't understand what is so different about your anatomy. If anything, it should be easier since there is less stomach in the way.
