Tastes changing

What foods/flavors did you love pre-op that you hate now post-op?

I now don't like Water... Like I feel like it all tastes nasty. Tried different brands to make sure it wasn't just bad water.

My tastes are the same, they are just more exaggerated. Things I didn't like before surgery I hate, like eggs and yogurt. And things I love, I love even more like lobster and crab.

People not liking Water is like the most puzzling thing to me about surgery. Water is the corner stone of life on this planet.

Even Fiji water?

I can't stand plain water and artificial sweeteners make me sick. I live on diluted Gatorade and lemonade.

chicken, burgers, eggs & tuna fish

Just to name a few

I was raised on a farm where are Water was straight from a spring.

Now, I just can not drink water from a plastic bottle. YUCK!!!!

I have to drink Crystal light or put some additive to water before I can drink it without "making a face". :)

The food I miss the most since surgery is Pasta and RICE.

I used to love, love, love both of those food items, now they make me soooo ill, that I can't imagine putting either of them in my mouth. :( ----not even a little amount.

Not what you're going to miss, I was hoping this thread would lean towards foods you CAN have, but don't like them anymore
