Pureed foods

I started pureed phase just a few days ago. It seems that every time I eat that the food gets lodged at the stomach opening. I've tried smaller bites, slower chewing but I can't get any relief. I may need to go back to Soups. Anyone have some suggestions.

If you are having to chew, i dont think that qualifies as pureed, jmho. Greek yogurt, refried beans, scrambled eggs, that type of thing that doesnt require chewing really. Also, you didnt mention how far along you were?

skip the gravy next time, just keep at it, chew slower, smaller bites. i actually used a baby fork at first. it will get better.

Sounds more like overeating to me. Your body would react pretty violently if it was actually stuck.

Adventually the sensation goes away. It's not like it's there all day just when I eat. And I can only eat a few bites.
