New here.

Hi everyone! I just recently got on here and have really enjoyed reading a lot of the forms. My surgery date for the Sleeve is scheduled for June 27th and as its getting closer I'm getting nervous! I have to be on a liquid diet for a week before? And tips for that? Also how long were you out of work after the surgery? Any positive tips would be appreciated! Look forward to sharing this journey with everyone!! :)

Good luck with yours...mine is June 22nd, so I can't give you any tips. Just based on what I've read, make sure you have lots of Tylenol handy when you're on the liquid diet ;)

I am also new here but have read many posts for a while and this is my first posting. I am asking my insurance company to pay for a revision surgery due to weight regain and complications from a 10 year old gastric bypass. I have regained most of my weight loss after much hard work to lose the weight and I have an unhappy ulcer and a hiatal hernia. I had no care after surgery as my wls center closed down soon after my operation.

If I get a second chance I will feel very fortunate and take care of my eating and behavioral issues this time.

@@ccflotron34 I decided to postpone mine until July 5th because i have had so much going on. We are buying a home and are moving in on the 1st (we originally were scheduled to close on the 24th!) So I guess you get to go first and can share your experience with me!
