How many ounces?

How many ounces can you eat or drink in one sitting? How far out from surgery are you?

I'm 18 months out and still max out at 4 oz. If it's meat or something fairly dense, usually more like 3 oz.

When you first start out eating normal food it's going to be around 2-3 ounces. I used an empty plastic pudding container to portion my food. However, as time goes by you will be able to eat more. I'm one year out and can eat more than a cup of food.

I am a little over 3 1/2 months post op and can eat about 4oz of Protein first then a bit of veggies(5-6 asparagus spears). As far as drinking goes, Water is no problem and it takes me about 30-40 minutes to drink an 8-11oz Protein shake.

I am 21 months post-op. I can usually eat about 3-5 oz. in one sitting. A little more if it's something with a high liquid content, like chili.
