  1. @@Riva How long have you been using the patches?
  2. @@Suzannie19 How long have you been using the patches? Should be getting mine this week! My NUT said to have blood work done in 4-6 months to see if they are working well.
  3. I am almost 4 months out and still have those issues as well. I'm waiting to feel normal again too!
  4. @@stacyrg2 Who was your surgeon and which hospital was it done? I am also in the LA area. Thanks!
  5. @@Spoiledguti86 You can order them through the BariatricPal Store. Use coupon ILUVMYPATCHES for 15% off (if it is still active). I actually just ordered two boxes of the Multivitamin the other day. @@Suzannie19 Let us know how your test results go!
  6. @@OutsideMatchInside How far out are you now?
  7. Thank you @@Alex Brecher. Just placed my order
  8. @@Alex Brecher, I just tried the code and it won't work...any ideas? I just refreshed the code. Let me know if you have any issues now. Sorry about that! Any plans for future coupons? I am interested in starting the Multivitamin patch. Can't stand taking a tablet!
  9. Just curious to see on average how many calories are you guys consuming daily? How far out are you? I am 3.5 months out and get about 850 calories.
  10. @ Thanks! That is actually pretty much how my GI doctor suggested to taper. Let me know how it goes for you
  11. @ How are you weaning off the PPI? I will be starting that process too.
  12. If you were prescribed a PPI after surgery, how long were you on it? Did you have a difficult time when trying to stop? Hoping to stop mine within the next week and have read some horror stories of "rebound" acid reflux that can last for some time. I was taking Prevacid 30 twice a day, but reduced to once a day two weeks ago. That caused nausea and heartburn for a bit. Nervous to get off the last pill.
  13. What medication are you taking to control it? I currently use Prevacid, but am looking to get off of it soon.
  14. That's great! How long were you using the patch before you had your last labs?
  15. Does anybody here use the vitamin patches? If so, how long have you been using them and how have your labs been? Tired of taking vitamin pills that make me nauseous and was interested in the multi-vitamin transdermal patch.
  16. Do you weigh your food or measure the volume instead? I have read where people will state how many ounces they can eat in a sitting and just wasn't sure if it is typical to use weight rather than volume.
  17. My surgeon initially told me to go to the GI Doctor and recommended the upper GI. Waiting for the final results from the GI Doctor and then they get faxed over to the surgeon. Surgeon made it pretty clear that he believes it is a GI Doctor issue at this point. Kind of feel pushed off.
  18. I was having discomfort with the small amount of food and drinks. I would feel unreasonably full. I also ended up with pancreatitis and they found that my gallbladder has sludge, which likely caused the pancreatitis. It's possible pancreatitis added additional swelling to my stomach, but the narrowing is so distinguished right in the middle of my stomach. I would have mild nausea, but that could have been from the other issues I was having.
  19. I had an upper GI on Monday. As it was being done while I was laying on my side, the doctor saw that I have a narrowing in my mid stomach. Looking at the screen, it was very obvious. I asked if it was a stricture and he said no since the fluid is passing through. I was sleeved 5/20 and he was skeptical that it could still be from swelling. Have any of you had this issue? If so, what was done to correct it? Waiting to hear back from my GI Doctor on final results, but just wanted to hear from others too.

  21. What are your stages and what are those protein goals?
  22. I know we all have different plans, but just wanting to see the variety. My NUT says 70-80.
  23. Talked to my surgeon about my concerns, so he told me to just take half the dose. So 250 two times a day. Had my first one with lunch and didn't notice any effects. Hopefully it stays that way.
  24. @@swimbikerun What was your dose and frequency?
