Wow wow wow

After almost a year of going through pre approval hoops and clearance stuff ... My sleeve surgery is JUNE 7th!!! Holy cow.

I've been overweight my entire life. And I'm getting the chance to have a tool to become healthy. Wow. I'm a mom to a two year old and I can't wait to have energy to play with him.

Anything you wish you'd known before surgery? My doctor has a one day liquid diet prior to surgery.

I can't believe it. I'm anxious. Scared. Happy. Everything.

How long should I be down for the count, healing?

Wow.

Also, diabetics. Tell me how you're doing!

Congrats! I was just approved and scheduled on today as well...my date is June 16th. I am nervous as heeeck! I didn't think I would be scheduled so close in date so I think that's why its hitting me like a ton of bricks. Hopefully I will wake up in the morning feeling more excited, less nervous and stunned :)

Good Luck to you and journey!!

I was diabetic before surgery - just diagnosed in December 2014. Since 3 days before surgery off diabetes meds - normal blood sugars.

Congrats! Best of luck to you! Like is only going to get better from now on!

Thats great. I just started my process now. I've been trying to gather all my documentationsfor the insurance now. I go for my Phy Eva on Tuesday. I can't wait to get this insurance stuff over with.
