  1. Congrats! Best of luck to you! Like is only going to get better from now on!
  2. Oh yes! This happened to me! For a week before starting my liquid diet all I could think was: Im going to eat a big bowl of pasta on my last night. Guess what happened? The day before my liquid diet arrived and just the thought of eating pasta made me ill. I ended uuop starting the diet earlier and going to bed...
  3. Hi! Im 5 days away from my surgery (May 31st) yay! And Im staying calm thanks to this amazing community! A few days ago I posted that I was feeling completely alone and a lot of you came right to the rescue and made me feel Im not alone in this journey. Now, on the liquid diet (day 10, 5 more to go)... I cheated today, I ate a toast that my boyfriend left behind after Breakfast. OMG I had almost forgotten how it felt to chew something! It felt good, bad, guilty, all at the same time. I came here, read that the same happened to many of you and now Im focused on staying clean until my surgery. Something nobody told me: my body hurts like hell! I don't know if its because I've lost 30lbs or because Im nervous but my back is hurting, my teeth are hurting, my ear hurts, I have a headache.... Its like my body is mad at me! Did this happened to you too? I can't take ant painkillers so Im stuck. Finally, Im already on leave from work so tomorrow Im spending the day putting together some care packages for my mom, my MIL and my boyfriend who are going to be taking care of me in the week after surgery, and I read here that its a nice gesture to give something to the nurses too so let me know if you have any ideas or if you've done it too! Thanks everyone for reading, have a great day/night! (As I said in my last post sorry if my English is not perfect Im from Latin America currently living in Argentina)

  14. Hi! I am scheduled for May 31st too! But in Argentina! How is your liquid diet going? So far mine feels kinda easy, but I havent lost any lbs.

  19. Hi, first of all english is not my first language so Im sorry if I make some mistakes while writing My surgery (sleeve) is in 9 days and in the past few days I've been feeling completely alone. My family supports my surgery but lives on the other side of the country, my best friend is on the other side of the country too doing her residency and my boyfriend is the kind of people that freezes with medical stuff so he's been nervous and avoiding talking about my surgery at all costs. And I just feel like I need to vent, you know? Im already on the liquid diet, it's hard, and I havent lost a single pound in 5 days!! Im nervous about so many things! I don't doubt about having my surgery, Im just anxious and nervous and I want to talk about it! And I feel I don't have anyone to talk.... Until two days ago my mom was the one I could talk all day, but now she's more nervous than me and asking every 2 hours if Im sure and sending me articles about "natural" alternatives to loose weight without surgery. Now Im distracting myself with work, and concentrating on being my own support, but I can't help feel scared. It would be great to talk to someone. Did any of you felt like this before surgery???
