Numbness/Tingling

Hello! I am one week post-op today and everything's been going really well so far except for one thing. Yesterday, my left leg started feeling tingly and numb from my upper thigh to my foot. I'm thinking it may be the sitting in one place for an extended amount of time because walking around seemed to help at first. Today, it hasn't helped all that much. I called the doctor's office and I'm waiting to hear something back. Has anyone else had this experience?

@ This can often be from dehydration or low potassium. Both can be serious and need to be addressed but it could also be a blood clot so I'm glad you called your doctor right away. Better than taking any chances. Waiting to hear back, you may want to drink something with electrolytes (G2, Pedialyte) and see if that helps any. Hope you get a quick response from your Dr.

Thank you so much!! My surgeon just had me get an ultrasound to test for blood clots and that wasn't the problem so I will definitely try that. Thanks again! :)
